The Gen 1.
Our system provides superior protection from the elements defending against wind and rain and providing vital insulation to keep the wearer dry and comfortable down to freezing temperatures of -50°C.
Comprising of a 3 layer system which adapts to the various temperatures and conditions of the wearers surroundings.
Layer 1
Base Layers
Worn next to skin providing the initial layer of insulation and moisture wicking. Provides excellent breathability and comfort.
The long sleeve top is cut to allow full range of movement and flat stitching prevents chaffing even when carrying heavy loads.
Designed to the highest technical specification, the long johns offer the same comfort, warmth and performance as its long sleeve brother; allowing full leg movement, this performance base layer will not hinder when climbing over harsh terrain, with its gender-cut profile it prevents chafing and rubbing in sensitive areas.
Layer 2
Insulation Layer
The Cold Weather Parka and Trousers are designed for use during operations in extreme cold, dry conditions. Using a unique high tenacity ripstop outer shell fabric that has a high water resistant finish and with PrimaLoft® insulation.
The Parka and Trousers maintain warmth even when wet providing reliable protection.
Comes complete with over trouser.
Layer 3
Shell Layer
A waterproof barrier designed to be worn over Layer 1 and 2 for cold wet conditions alternating between freezing and thawing.
The Wet/Cold Weather Jacket and Trousers are designed for use in cold and wet conditions as a hard shell layer combined with the base and insulation layers. Constructed with our System Dual Protection ® material which eliminates condensation which occurs in all waterproof materials and can lead to hypothermia. SDP works by managing the inner condensation keeping the wearer drier than any other waterproof system.
Our ECWS is double seam-sealed throughout, completely waterproof, windproof and condensation free providing the highest level of protection against the elements.
